What's so amazing to me about the crypto market is that, generally speaking in the long term, it's predicable volatility. Predictable volatility is the ultimate holy grail when it comes to investing or trading.

So yeah, while it's true that smart money doesn't necessarily look for the "capital B" bottom of the bear market. They buy the dips, but they buy into weakness. And then sell into strength. It's an acknowledgement that no one ultimately knows the future so it's always good to be conservative with asset purchases so you always have something to buy the dip with. And it still takes discipline to wait for dips. It's like what Cathy Wood said, they buy in when the market has a freakout.

But the fact that the crypto market has actual long term predictable volatility enables people to know generally when it's smart to buy dips and sell peaks. And it is always smart to sell into strength. If you know you're in a bull market and it looks like the price action is in a parabolic, blow-off top, that is the smart time to sell. You guarantee yourself profit even if it's not a maximal amount. Buying dips and selling peaks takes patience and discipline.
