How Much It Costs To Mine For Cryptocurrency
Mining for cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ether, and dogecoin isn't as lucrative as it used to be. Here's a look at how to do it and why small-time miners are being driven out of business. Bitcoin topped $58,000 in February for the first time. Ether, the world’s second-biggest cryptocurrency, has also hit record highs this year. Even dogecoin — a cryptocurrency invented as a joke that does not have the same serious function and institutional backing as bitcoin — surged more than 50% in the last month after a tweet from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
It is easier than ever to buy a small fraction of one bitcoin using an app such as Coinbase. However, that’s not the only way investors can get their hands on cryptocurrency.
Investors can also mine for the digital currency. Before the Covid-19 pandemic started, CNBC went to a blockchain production studio in Brooklyn to learn how to mine for bitcoin’s biggest rival, ether.

It’s interesting how everyone forgets to question the core: what are they mining? 2. What guarantees that the price will only multiply its value over time? (History has it that technology cost reduces over time). What society problem will it solve? If it’s like gold, then use of gold today do not solve but retains the value of the overlay asset. (Ohh, but we are not a gold backed economy anymore). Do not follow the heard unless even your far fetched vision find it hard to solve anything in our day to day lives. Yes, I do see some value within the underworld community, and we all know Large banks and big corporates all have some income from money laundering. For a general public like us, it’s merely paying to encourage their interest in illegal activities. Crypt0 is on quite up and down run, with little sign of stopping. I know people hate saying "this time is different" but the amount of banks, institutions, and companies who have invested hundreds of millions of dollars with the intent to hold long term: how can we refute that this may be the "super cycle" everyone is talking about? The conditions of this bull market are unlike anything we have ever seen. βͲ↻ still has a ways to go in terms of gro wth, I have been in the crypt0 world for just over a year now and I have been able to make 21 βͲ↻ foIIowing the reasonable adv!se and tradn s!gnals from Anthony Raymond, a pro anaIysis that is always one step ahead of other tradrs, he runs a program for serious minded investor/newbies who are curious to e arn from bit coin regardless of the current pr!ce chart. I first started mining with a hardware of 6pcs gtx 1060 3gb back in mid 2017. The whole setup cost me 2k USD.
I tried to mine ether, BTG, zencash, etc. Then from October to December that year, I focus on Zclassic mining around 2-3 ZCL per day and stack all the coins because of rumors running around Discord. Then February the following year (2018), ZCL price suddenly went up to 250 USD each coin because of the pump!! Boom!!!! Ta-da!!
The rest are history!! 😀
May you all have wonderful lifetime! 🙂
