Thanks for your comments. There's no denying the environmental impact of mining and the product shortages is contributes to, but this video does NOT advocate for the kind of large scale commercial mining that does the majority of the harm.
Nicehash is for folks who already have a gaming PC that they want to use to recoup some cost and don't really want to learn the ins and outs of setting it up.
This video is already out there. We aren't going to paper over it, but with that in mind, I read you loud and clear and we will think carefully about our partnerships in the mining space moving forward.

You realise this just makes crypto mining appear more mainstream right? This video plants the seed in peoples minds that mining is done by all kinds of people, not just by companies with massive farms sucking the life energy out of the earth and its people. And by creating this impression it makes it harder to pin the blame on these companies for all the BS crypto mining causes.
I think you do realise this. I would not be surprised if this was part of the briefing for this sponsor.

I like nicehash but recently they've been accusing phoenixminer for releasing a compromised version of phoenixminer 5.5D, the author of the miner denied this and said that its on nicehash fault of adding their own link and not double-checking along with scaremongering people with their sudden and rash announcement.

Yeah, Nicehash is cool but, CudoMiner lets you actually mine coins and keep the coins you mined… Also, you can choose to mine whatever you want and get paid in Eth and BTC but let's face it, those are the only two that matter now for getting paid and not losing money.
